Vendor Code of Conduct

Effective Date: June 17, 2026

This Vendor Code of Conduct applies to DEKONCEPT Inc. d/b/a Silver Sydney ("Silver Sydney"). We are firmly committed to ethical sourcing, responsible manufacturing, respect for fundamental human rights, and environmentally sustainable practices throughout our operational supply chain.

This Code establishes the definitive minimum standard frameworks expected from all suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, service providers, and primary business partners (collectively, "Suppliers") working in collaboration with Silver Sydney.

1. Legal Compliance

Suppliers must comply strictly with all applicable local, national, and international laws and statutory regulations, including those governing labor practices, minimum wage mandates, workplace health and safety, product integrity, and environmental protection.

2. Absolute Prohibition of Forced Labor

All employment operations must be entirely voluntary. Suppliers are strictly prohibited from engaging in or supporting any framework of forced, bonded, indentured, trafficked, or involuntary labor mechanics.

  • Workers must never be required to surrender official state identification documents or passports.
  • Workers shall not pay recruitment, hiring, or employment processing fees to secure placement.
  • Workers must maintain absolute freedom of movement and possess the right to terminate employment lawfully.

3. Direct Child Labor Prohibition

Child labor is strictly forbidden. Suppliers must exclusively employ individuals who meet or exceed the minimum legal working age requirements set by local statutes or internationally recognized baseline standards, whichever criterion is higher.

4. Equitable Wages and Working Hours

Suppliers must allocate wages, comprehensive benefits, and operational working hours that strictly satisfy all local governing frameworks. Regular and overtime hours must be compensated transparently, equitably, and in direct alignment with statutory parameters.

5. Workplace Health and Safety Infrastructure

Suppliers are required to secure a safe, hygienic, and highly functional working environment designed to mitigate occupational hazards. Workplace environments must integrate:

  • Unrestricted access to clean, potable drinking water and clean sanitation facilities.
  • Adequate operational lighting, proper ventilation structures, and secure machinery guard setups.
  • Proactive fire safety protocols, unobstructed emergency exits, and direct evacuation routes.

Any form of physical abuse, workplace harassment, intimidation, or inhumane labor treatment is strictly prohibited.

6. Ethical Sourcing and Anti-Human Trafficking Compliance

Silver Sydney maintains an absolute opposition to all forms of human trafficking, modern slavery, and labor exploitation. We expect our procurement partners to proactively manage their raw materials supply chains to certify that no component is sourced through unlawful or unethical labor frameworks. Suppliers must also handle water, chemical management, and energy consumption with high environmental accountability.

7. Animal Welfare Commitments

Suppliers involved in procuring wool or any other animal-derived materials must ensure the humane, safe, and respectful treatment of animals in direct compliance with recognized global animal welfare parameters.

8. Business Integrity and Accountability

Suppliers must operate with absolute transparency, professional honesty, and zero tolerance for bribery, commercial corruption, or fraudulent record-keeping practices.

9. Compliance Auditing and Corrective Measures

Silver Sydney reserves the absolute right to request reasonable supply-chain documentation or perform verification assessments to evaluate compliance with this Code. Failure to satisfy these ethical standards may result in immediate structural corrective action plans, suspension of corporate procurement, or termination of the business relationship.
